Once again, we had a great time celebrating Melbourne Cup. Thanks to everyone for joining!
First up were welcome drinks at the beautiful Garden Terrace of the Harbour Rocks Hotel. Margaritas, Espresso Martinis, and Beirut Summers got us in a fun party mood.
Then lunch was served. We indulged in some delicious Middle Eastern cuisine. On the menu for the day: Falafel, Pita, Hummus, Cauliflower Chips, Baked Eggplant, Chicken Shawarma, Lamb Kofta, Chat Potatoes, and Roasted Pumpkin with Feta. More and more tasty dishes kept on being served!
At 3pm, the highlight of the day took place. Gathering in front of the screen, everyone followed the Melbourne Cup Race. Who would be the lucky winner of the sweep? Go, go, go!
After the race, the lovely afternoon was not yet coming to an end. Heading back outside, the Terrace offered a perfect space to enjoy the sun, enjoying good conversation, and bringing the wonderful day to a relaxed close.
