“The thing I really like about Ecovis Clark Jacobs is that they understand that I am up for challenges. They take this seriously and keep giving me opportunities to increase my skills and capabilities. They are really supportive. Sometimes I am a bit shy to ask – but my manager and my director know that I am willing and eager to grow, and go out of their way to present me with opportunities,” says Jeffry Susanto who was recently promoted to Senior Accountant.
Jeffry has worked with Ecovis Clark Jacobs for the last two years. Originally from Indonesia, Jeffry started his career in auditing at PWC in Jakarta.
“I came to Australia in 2015. As you can imagine, tax is completely different here. I love learning, so really enjoyed getting my head around the Australian Tax system. I completed my Masters at Macquarie University, while working part time, then I joined ECJ.”
Jeffry is really settling into the team at ECJ. He has since completed his CA and is already contemplating starting his Chartered Tax Advisor qualification.
“I love working with Thu and Elissa – they really appreciate my work and take me into consideration for growing and developing my career. I really appreciate them.”
In his spare time, Jeffry loves staying fit. Like most of us, he can’t wait to get back to the gym, swimming and having coffees with his mates.
We had to ask… Jeffry’s Indonesian restaurant recommendations in Sydney are: Ayam Goreng 99 – in Kingsford for the fried or grilled chicken with the chili. Or Medan Ciak on Elizabeth St Surry Hills!
