Mark Wellings was promoted to the role of Associate Director this FY. We asked him what he likes about working with ECJ.
“I have worked for three sizeable and respectable firms in my career. The firm’s culture is young, hungry, and motivated. This is reflected in the clients that are attracted. They are all in a growth stage or starting businesses. This gives the team lots of flexibility when providing wholistic advice compared with working at a Big 4.
Other firms talk about change and improvement, but here it is real. Mark noticed that a significant internal process could be improved and automated, significantly increasing efficiencies and uniformity across the firm. He proposed the change to the Director, who supported his idea. It took him a year to design the solution, and he was supported throughout. In less than three years, the firm was able to go paperless, resulting in a positive environmental impact as well!
